My main focus when working on any project is the user. The user is the most important person, even above the client themselves. If a user doesn’t enjoy and find the project easy to use, I consider my efforts a failure. I also know that design is very important, design keeps a users interest focused on the project. If the design isn’t up to par with my standards, I do not consider the project complete.
With the users happy, the design perfected, now comes functionality. I make sure the website works the way it should, doesn’t take long to load and is up to par with today’s latest and greatest technology available. If the site looks good, users can use the site with ease, and the site loads quickly and efficiently, the site is a success. And I do not release any project to any client unless I feel like the project is up to these standards.
